Negative indicator on report

If an account on a fico page shows a negative indicator is that the "current" status of the account? I'm looking at my GFs page and she has 3 accounts with negative indicators but she's paid off her few debts. Is there anything she needs to do, or just wait for them to drop off?

Even if paid, bad accounts will continue to report as such. Are these CAs or OC accounts? If any are OC accounts, when did they go bad?

Re: Negative indicator on report

One from Capital One, one from Midland which is a CA I think, and one from WSFS

The Capital One date of last activity was 11/2008

Re: Negative indicator on report

If the paid OCs are older than your AAoA or 5-6+ yrs old, then I'd just let them sit. Sometimes the history helps more than the baddie hurts. If not, send a GW asking for deletion (or deletion of lates + neg. comments). For the CA, send a GW asking for deletion.
