I've had an INQ added to TU and EQ, with no score change, and I've had 2 INQ's added to EX and no score change....all in the past coupla weeks.
Is there a range that scores won't change? If a range is 3-6 inq's , and I have 4 and then add 1, since I'm in that 4-6 range with a 5, would my score not change?
Btw, not complaining, just curious.....
Any BK on file ?
Nope. 1 paid $165 utility bill on TU, 5yrs old (not my fault)....clean clean clean
And before anybody even thinks about saying, 'well, some other things changed on your report that negated the point decrease that is associated with a new inquiry'.
Ain't buyin' what yer sellin'. This has happened 4 times whereas a new inquiry reported, and no score change. I started to do screen shots and post pics, but that's too much trouble.
There must be a range for inquiries like I mentioned in post 1.

I would suspect you are in a bucket right now where addl inquries do not matter over what you already have. People who have a BK on file usually run into this, I used to be one of them.

Sometimes there is no answer.
It's not worth trying to figure it out.

A bucket is just a group of people that have the same credit charateristics as you do. You move around in buckets as you pass thresholds that define your current bucket and as usual none of us know exactly what the borders of the buckets are.
Well if I'm in a bucket that doesn't drop my score from new inquiries, then I'd like to stay in it. Could you let mr fico know? Thanx,
