New cc with CU but difference in scores???

I just tried my cu out for a new cc and was approved .They always show up on my tu reports so being tired of hsbc and since my tu monitoring came it was my highest score. I knew as of yesterday my score was 728 but the cu had 708. So what do you think they used my last inq was with them and it was the same. But anyway  8.5int. fixed  and 1500cl that they told me would increase in 6months I think is pretty good. So hsbc see what you made me do .HaHaHa 728-tu 695-eq721-ex.frozen

Congrats on the card!

They probably used a score from the TU04 formula. TU still provides the older TU98 score here and on their transunioncs (note the -cs) site.

Once more than half the nation's lenders shift to a new formula, myFICO changes as well, but it has to be done in concert with TransUnion.

I'm still trying to figure out how things are weighted differently in the two versions. I run across bits and pieces, but no big picture yet (for me, anyway.)
