@tooleman694 how old is it? is it your oldest? And is it your only loan? If not, what would aggregate loan utilization change have been please? TIA!

It is not my oldest loan. My student loan is much older and is upside down with util.

My Avant loan was opened Oct 2018.

I gotta do the math but I bet my overall util on my installment accounts is probably in the 90 percent range.

@tooleman694 you never know, it could be looking at the car loan separate from the SL, I'm not 100% positive. Mortgage loans and student loans may be looked at separately, idk 100%.

But, it does seem like when one loan is over 100%, it doesn't bring that over into the aggregate. In other words, it seems as if aggregate loan utilization cannot use more than 100% from each individual loan towards the aggregate.

so if you had a $10,000 student loan, but you owed $25,000, it seems like it would still contribute only $10,000 to both the numerator and denominator of aggregate loan utilization.

This is by no means anything other than just a theory. I'm working on trying to figure out how it works and I'm not saying this is how it works, just theory.

So total installment debt is 109,487, the original balance was 119,575. Good news is that because of covid and me paying my student loans, I am a couple hundred dollars away from getting under 100 percent util on it. The rest of my debt is 2 auto loans and that Avant loan that is almost paid off.
