My EQ and TU scores have not changed in at least 7 months, as you can see from my signature. I believe it might actually be March '08 that I first got those scores.
In that time I have never been late (NEVER LATE ON ANYTHING!), my CC balances have gone from around $6000 (I think) to $1500 on one card, I still only have one inquiry for a brokerage account at Wells Fargo, I have received a CLI from Discover from $6500 to $7200, my total CL is around $75k.
The reason that EX changed was that a paid charge-off for an auto loan I co-signed for, and PIF as soon as I found out about it, came off that report. TU says that it is scheduled to come off this month too. I so want to pull my scores but I am going to wait until I receive notification from TrueCredit that there has been a change on the other two reports, hopefully that the Ford account has been removed.
You are in such a high bracket that it is tough for any movement unless there is a drastic utilization pay-off or removal of baddie. I'd be curious to see just how large your jump is when it falls off the other report.
Good luck and please update us.
Same thing here. My scores are static since I only have 0% or 1% util reporting and my major derog wont fall off till saometime in 2012.
Once you are in the major derog group, time is the only variable in your score. Unless you do something crazy with util or # cards reporting a balance.
I updated my reports at TrueCredit and the derog is only showing on TU now. Funny that TU is the only one where I have seen specifically that it is scheduled to come off in 12/08. If it is off EQ shouldn't I receive a notice from SW of a score change?
I'm going to be updating daily to check if it has been removed. Soon as it is, I'll splurge for all 3 credit scores.
