Old addresses showing on report

Should I dispute old addresses showing on my credit report? They have every single address I've lived at my entire life - going back to the 90s

Does having a bunch of old addresses effect your score? I moved around quite a bit before buying my home in 2007.

Oh, and on that note, should I dispute old employers? I've been with my current one for 13 years, and before that was three years. Before that I was in college so unemployed. They have all jobs I ever had, including McDonalds where I worked when I was sixteen years old! Smiley Surprised Smiley LOL It's accurate, but old as h-e-double-hockysticks!

Thanks!

If the information is accurate there is nothing to dispute.

Re: Old addresses showing on report

You don't "dispute" old addresses or employers if they are legit, but you are more than welcome to submit a request to each CRA to have them removed, simply stating that you're not associated with that address/employer.

You want to make sure before doing so, though, that none of your accounts that are currently reporting are associated with that address/employer.  If one is for whatever reason, just as fast as the CRA removes it you may find that it reappears when that account gets reported/updated the next time.
