Only 1 point; why so long to update EQ

On June 4th, I received notice from EQ that a judgement had been removed from my credit report as well as to collections. Today, June 22nd, I received a Myfico alert that my score increased by 1 point on June 20th. Why did it take so long to update and why did my score only increase by 1 point? I thought that removing judgements and collections was a big deal.

Thanks

Re: Only 1 point; why so long to update EQ

Scorewatch recently went into one of its periodic funks, per Equifax. They finally fixed whatever it was this time, and a bunch of overdue alerts went out.

You might want to look at the date on your alert. I got one today (the 22nd) that was dated 6/20.

Also, if you go to the Products Feedback board, there is a stickied post by Barry that explains how often your Equifax report is reviewed for different types of changes, and what the expected timing of alerts might be.

Thanks! My alert was dated 6/20 also, but I rec'd it today. Hopefully I'll get more alerts, and hopefully higher scores!! Want to buy a home in October. Need about 30 points!
