I don't mind - EX hates me, and I can now stop worrying about it as I will never know what my EX score is anymore!

I read it about that as well. I think it is really unfair to the consumers. Especially people like me who is monitoring credit and trying to better my scores (goal of the 700 club). I guess if enough peopl complain they may change their minds. For now we just have to deal with the hand that was dealt to us.

my ex report will stay frozen FOREVER, or until they let the american public have a means of seeing the info they are letting lendors base thier decisions on. in fact i think i may take up this matter with my reps in washington.

i know this is how it used to be, but just wrong to base decisions on information about me i have no means to access. the kicker is, most lendors won't tell you your score. just approved or denied, take the matter up w/ex.

I'm sorry, I don't get it. How are you supposed to monitor what is on your report, dispute inaccuracies, etc?  Are you now supposed to simply assume creditors are being honest when/what/how they report without knowing the content/scores? How can the do this legally?

You will still be able to pull your EX credit report, dispute inaccuracies etc you just will not be able to see your score. Unless EX decides to start selling your FICO score themselves.

The reports you pull here should never be used for monitoring. Never.

Since the lenders don't pull the same reports we see anyway it's not a major biggie for me. Thank EX for all the money they are saving you. Really.

Not sure what you mean. Why wouldn't you use these reports for monitoring?  Are you saying you can still order reports and if so why would those be preferable (more detailed for sure but you seem to indicate the reports here are not accurate)....
