I envy your 816 Equifax score. I've never had an EQ above 810! I think Equifax probably would like to see me have an installment loan or mortgage!
Thanks! I think EQ is higher because they only show 21 of my 45 (!!!) TLs. They dropped all my old student loan accounts a while ago (EX and TU should drop those in 2010 & 2011). I don't have a mortgage right now, but I do have an installment loan, so that's probably helping too.
From your score history, it looks like you're going to keep moving up on EQ. Good luck!
Look at my signature, and you can see that 2008 has truly been an exciting year for me!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Oh sorry, were you talking about movement in your FICOs Psychic?

look out, I might pass your EQ and TU scores by Christmas.
My scores have been static (give/take 1 point here and there on EQ) for about 6 months. I may get a slight boost next month for my Visa card being 1 year but I dont expect much. I have to wait about 3 - 4 more years for my major derog to fall off.
I am not complaining mind you since my scores are good enough for my current needs.
I was waiting to post until all 3 scores got above 760, but 6 months later TU is still only at 757.
Oh well. I just wanted to be a part of this thread!!

Don't worry about TU! We're happy to see you here!!!
Congratulations on your scores!!!
I'm BRAND new to this. We almost moved a couple of months ago and I started poking around my credit. Found a mistake (shocker) and just got that corrected. I've used true credit and like it, except for the FAKO score as I've learned it to be. The good news for me is that when I got my FICO all three were higher, EX considerably.
I've gotten my score the old fashioned way, by paying on time. I haven't done anything to improve my credit purposely, yet. I carry an AMEX balance (I PIF each month on the due date). I may try paying a week early for a couple of months to see what happens. I use the AMEX for almost all expenses. My wife used one as well, but... Well let's just say she is now on a "cash only" basis for a while. At least she realized it and no lates.
From what I've read, I have WAY to many accounts. I closed one home equity loan (this was the late pay referenced above and I thought it was closed in 2005) and am considering closing another. The "other one" is one I used to finance my wife's engagement ring for a couple of months in 2004. The CL is $9K and I will never use it again. Just not sure if it will help, or hurt to close.
