Yea I hit in 800s this month 800, 802 and 785 and I am just beside myself. I started at 533. Lilybee 850 across is just incredible. I know you hit that back in summer but just great.
All I wanted to add was gardening means just that. Seeds planted. I want another killer good credit card bad then I ask myself why ? You have a quicksilver for rewards and us air now American air for armies and 3 others what do you really need the Amex ex blue or the bank of america rewards for ? I DON'T
It will pull my average credit history life down add a hard inquiry which I am about to lose 2 in Dec and serve to just drop your Fico you worked so hard on.
So I get nothing. No new credit card or installment in 2 years. With that I have hit 800s and not buying things I can live without to keep utilization low. I kicked my utilization up on 2 cards to close to 80% took 3 months to pay them off and although I took a heck of a hit 718 after I paid down to 1% it did what I had hoped for l. 2 ficos in 800 1 785. That one should move with inquires off in December. It's a numbers game and a starving yourself game that builds character of do not leave above your means.

Looks like Sfoboy, Sarge, Johnny, and Paramed, among others, are having a good year. Stay the course and you certainly won't regret it.
I think it would do a world of good to have budget and finance classes required in elementary schools. Kids are so smart nowadays with their knowledge of technology, et al., that learning how to deal with money would probably be a piece of cake for them. It could even possibly lessen poverty in the U.S. We should all have been so lucky in grade school.
I think many of us may have been 'too soon old; too late smart.'
