Well I didn't realize that 760 plus was considered "high achiever" but I am please to say for the first time I can post in this thread.
TU-770
EQ-762
EX-waiting for a triggering event to update score but can only assume it's similar.
Currently my AAOA is just over one year and my oldest account will be two years in March. I have three open non secured credit cards and one open secured installment loan. Two closed secured credit cards and one closed secured installment loan. I am pleasantly surprised I was able to reach these scores in less then two years. When I joined Myfico I had no credit score, no positive accounts and a bunch of medical collections.
All 3 of mine are above 760. 2 are currently above 800, and 1 is below 800. It dropped due to a HP, and then the add of a credit line, and the closure of an old credit line. My better half tells me to stop worrying about the scores, but it is a GREAT feeling when you see each of the 3 above 800 wow. Now I hope to be in straight 8s again very soon ;-)
Drich - Close but no cigar. You'll hit 850 soon, I expect. Hang in there.
GardenH - What's with the 'secured' and 'nonsecured' credit cards, et al.? I don't know what that means.
FdeMio - Good for you; looks like you've come a long way from your starting scores. You're smart to be concerned about FICO scores. They do offer better purchasing/credt deals for those who 'pay-up' responsibly. Unless your other half's scores are better than yours, he/she may not be as responsible. Stay the course.
LilyBee---since I had no credit score when I joined I was only able to get secured credit products. Secured as in I deposited my money in an account (500 dollars for example) and they would loan me up to that limit (500 dollar limit credit card for example). As far as I know secured credit accounts are weighed the same as no secured accounts (regular credit products) for Fico scoring. Manual review by loan officers and underwriters my not see secured credit history the same as the Fico models but I've now been able to get a couple regular credit cards with Amex and Discover so I just need some more time with the new accounts to show I'm not going to burn anybody haha. Hope that answers your question.
Thank you, GardenH. Your explanation was very clear. We're never too old to learn.
Carry on.

Congrats, which report?
Congrats, and yes- it is a good feeling! You should be proud of the progress you've made from the 500s and low 600s. Never go back! As I'm sure you know, it's much easier to stay in the "straight 8s" then it is to actually get there.
