I just re ran credit (signed up for scorewatch), and my score dropped 6 points and I don't know why!!! They ONLY thing different that I can tell is that it is telling me my creent utilization is 78% and last time I checked it said it was at 58%...the wierd thing is that I haven't had ANY balance increases!!
at 58% UTI balances were:
1221 revolving
5471 revolving
7273 (auto loan not revolving)
today it say 78% balances are:
1221 revolving
5471 revolving
6885 (auto not revolving)
Total revolving credit is 11,600 and i get around 58% when I add it up.....what is going on???????
I already checked to be sure and none of my cards have been closed or anything, and both scores are thru my fico.......
I just paid the 1221 card off one week ago and it is not posting a zero balance as of yet, I was working on UTI to get my score to go up...and now it's going down!!!!
Any thoughts???????

If you don't mind could you post each individual CC balance and credit limit or do you have just the two? If you only have two then once that $1221 works it's way through the sytem your utilization will be about 47% (5,471/11,600).
If you paid the $1221 off just a week ago (congratulations on that) it will not post until your next statement date and then the issuer has to update with the CRA's. It will help you but patience is a key.

Sure here they are:
CC1: 0bal/200 limit
CC2: 0 bal/500 limit
CC3: 0 bal/3000 limit
CC3 1221/1900 limit (this is what it shows, but I just paid down to 0 but hasn't updated)
CC4: 5460/6000 limit
I looked at the limits earlier and they appeared to be the same, but I will go back now and double check again just to be on the safe side! Thanks for your help I really am ready to pull my hair out!!

If you still have the same CL's then my numbers still show you with a utilization of 47% after that $1,221 payment shows up.

just went back and checked all the limits are the same as before..literally nothing has changed (no new debt,no new baddies) except where they say the percent of your utilization is on the understanding your score part showing 78% rather than the 58% it was at before. I was calculating that by paying the 1221 CC balnce off I would be down to around 48% which at least was getting me somewhere, still curious how the % of UTI affects score too
This explains much better than I can about FICO scoring:
