Plus Scores from Amex

Has anyone compared their CreditSecure (Amex) Plus scores and FICOs for a considerable lengh of time?  I ask because my Plus scores are very, very close to my FICO scores, and an awful lot cheaper.

EXF   734                         EXP   732
EQF  787                         EXP   783
TUF   792                         TUP  789

That is pretty close - way closer than my TC scores ever were
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Interesting observation.  I just signed up for CreditSecure a month ago, so I haven't had a chance to track them for any length of time, but here's my snapshot (my PLUS scores are also close, but not quite as close as yours; I also threw in TC just for good measure):

EX: FICO 695 / PLUS 676 / TC 695
EQ: FICO 700 / PLUS 676 / TC 716
TU: FICO 677 / PLUS 666 / TC 635

Re: Plus Scores from Amex

I just signed up for the CreditSecure free, 30 day-trial a few weeks ago.  My FICOs are from 1/14/08, and the Plus scores were pulled 1/15/08--

EX   FICO 831/ PLUS 808
EQ  FICO 802/ PLUS 794
TU   FICO 813/ PLUS 808

I'm betting that MV's scores are so close because he has a relatively thin file that is now squeaky clean, so there aren't as many areas than can be divergently scored.

OK, "divergently" can't possibly be the correct word, but it's the only one that pops up. Smiley Tongue

Well - over 20 accounts, and TC can't seem to get even close (about 50 points lower across the board).

Oh, I didn't realize that you had so many closed accounts. I was thinking of your admirably streamlined current line-up.

Yes, TC scores are just a running joke. They seem to run high for people with low FICO's, and low for people with high FICO's.

MV and the other AmEx people are the ones to ask. I am not yet allowed at the AmEx table! Smiley Very Happy

Although I can say that they are FAKO's, as the only place that you can get FICO's are here (at myFICO) and from the EQ website. (Plus one obscure location on TU, that is their version of the quarterly monitoring product. Well, OK, plus the credit card PFICO that you can get from WaMu!)

Re: Plus Scores from Amex

Do keep in mind that the highest PLUS Score is 830, not 850.
