I've gotten three this week alone for new accounts, even though there wasn't a score change. Remember that there is a delay for notifying you, and it varies for what the trigger was.
I added a post by Barry about the timing of alerts to my siggy below. Click on it; maybe that will help.
By the way, be sure that your alert preferences are current. Set the target score to your current score, as strange as that sounds. When it moves away from it, it sets off an alert. Not sure in your specific case if you would want to use the lower score or the higher score.
