Question about dispute?

Hi Everyone! This is my first dispute with the bureaus so i am not familiar with it and impact on scores. I just lost 20 point and was wondering if a dispute in process(reinvestigation) not even completed yet make you loose points? The only other thing is a $16 balance with all other cards with zero balance which i thought it was a good thing. Not sure what to think anymore trying to improve things and see a 20 points loss! 🙁

Disputed accounts are temporarily excluded from scoring. That may impact age/utilization, possibly both.

Oh i see may be it then. Thank you. I hope it is not my first card that i left a little balance for Azeo. The closed card that is in dispute is very old compared to some of my open accounts. But it is weird because this is how is working, look:

-Myfico nothing changed with score yet and is noted both reinvestigation and $16 new azeo balance
-Experian +16 points noted both azeo and dispute.
-Creditkarma -20 and -21
-Creditwise -20
I am puzzled!

You’re puzzled because you’re looking at FAKO scores on CK.

This is the FICO forum is because we concentrate on FICO scores, the ones that actually matter.

The scores from CK are vantagescores which are for the most part meaningless.

If this is your oldest account thats in dispute and they remove the tradeline, be prepared for a possible score drop due to the age of your oldest account dropping.
