Thank you for that. I thought I was doing the right thing. I have two other cards left with AF's (First Nat'l CC & Legacy Visa - both with $2250 CL's) that I've been afraid to close because they are my oldest OPEN accounts at about 3 years each. They've done their job and now I'll be happy to get rid of them the moment I can get $5500 in CLI's on one or a combo of my new cards. Thanks for the clarification and the suggested website.Do either of those two cards have an annual fee? If not, why not keep them?
They both do - $80 per year I believe. I might try to get those removed though - something I've never tried with them. Has anybody had any luck getting AF's removed from Legacy Visa or First Savings Bank M/C? I'd love to know if that's an option.
Great question. The folks in the CC forum might know.
