I know (think) that potential landlords who check your credit do HPs. But I'm wondering: If I apply for 2-3 places in a short period of time, say 1-2 weeks, will it "count" as one inquiry for scoring purposes, similar to when one is car shopping?
Unless the landlord/management company miscodes the inquiry as a "mortage inquiry", it'll count individually.
