Question??

Hello all.  I am in the process of purchasing a new car.  I recently pulled my reports and my Experian and Equifax scores were in the 580's, while my Transunion was 599.  They pulled my CR at the dealership and my Transunion score there was 628.  My question is this: how accurate is this info?  I believed that the scores purchased on this myfico site were the real deal.  Is the dealership's credit score different for some reason?? I am currently subscribed to score watch and credit keeper, and have not received any score alert changes, so I don't have a reason as to why there is the difference in scores.. Any answers??

Re: Question??

FICO creates custom scoring for the Auto and BankCard industries.

The FICO you see here is a classic or Mortgage FICO score.

The dealer DID pull a FICO- it is however enhanced for the Auto lending business.
