Did a search on these forums for ReadyForZero.com's service offering an EX FICO Score, not sure if it's the 08 model or not, but I'm looking at the site (and their $12.95 fee/monthly) and trying to access the score they offer and I'll promptly back out of the paid service.
Does anyone know what score they offer? I read somewhere it's a Vantage Score 3? Then I read it was a real FICO score. When I signed up, they were having "technical difficulties contacting Experian's database to access my score" and notified me I wouldn't be charged because of it.
Also, what am I paying $4.95/mo for MyFICO services? I can't find it in the services they currently offer.
I know I get a TU report every quarter, as well as a score, but I get the TU08 score free from Discover, Barclaycard, and Walmart GECRB cards, would it be wrong to discontinue the paid service? I pay $4.50/mo for FreeCreditScore and get a report from them monthly.
Thanks in advance!!
Tony
I pay for MyFICO Quarterly Monitoring, just saw it in the "My Subscriptions" tab

Well ready for zero is an fako along with free credit score . if you want to monitor your experian ,why not go for free experian options.credit.com or cs could satisfy your needs they both update once a month.
As far as SW from here it monitors your eq and gives you official fico score.
Ahh, was hoping the ReadyForZero would've been a true FICO, oh well, just went there and downgraded back to the free service they offer, I like their site, it's similar to Mint, and that's a good thing!
I've got CreditSesame's free version (sensing a trend here? I like free stuff! ) and I just got a membership with DCU, so that will supply me with the EQ08 score! Experian's the last one I need to find a way to obtain, I will absolutely surf through the options!
Thanks for the tips!!

I had a typo, I meant to put in EQ04 by DCU, I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

DCU is EQ '04.
Gold standard for Experian scores is PSECU membership if you live or work in the state of PA. Outside of that there really isn't much other than FBNO.
Hi - I'm Rod, CEO of ReadyForZero. Thanks for trying and discussing our premium products here!
We use the VantageScore 3.0 provided by Experian as part of our automated premium products. This score is not an educational score and is used by lenders. With that said, it is not the FICO score but it is definitely not an educational score. This was an explicit decision. Remember, when lenders or other creditors consider your credit they use different scores as well as scores developed internally that may be informed in part by external credit bureau scores. VantageScore 3.0 is based on the same FICO range (300-850) although it is not a FICO score.

FICO Score or not, that's good public relations! Props to you, sir!!
I still intend on using the site to help me keep focus on paying down my bills and not adding more debt. Though, I'm unsure if I'll go ahead with the paid service at this point. $12.95 seems a bit unjustified for me right now.
Thanks for all the information everyone!
Sounds good, thanks for the reply.
As you know, all our basic tools are free and we'll continue to make improvements on the paid service. Good luck as you tackle your debts, hopefully we can continue to help! Keep us posted.
