[TOPIC IS SOLVED]
I received my Citi Bank Double Cash credit card and recieved a piece of paper with an EX score but this score ranges from 250-900 unlike the 300-850. Any idea what type of FICO score this is?
It's the credit card enhanced score.
Have you pulled your reports from myFICO? They will show you all the different FICO scores you have and the ranges.
Possibly a bankcard enhanced version.

No, it is the actual score they used from EXP to approve credit cards.
And no, I didn't pull from FICO; it's costly and pointless--I'm not applying for anything important.

Yes and the score they use for approval seems to be a bankcard enhanced FICO version. Its the same FICO version they provide monthly with EQ.
So they used their own scoring system to approve me of their credit? Sounds a bit ridiculous. Otherwise, I'm not understanding what "enchanced FICO version" means. It's the bank's own form of FICO credit scores?

I don't know why you were being so snarky when we were giving you the correct answers. Not cool, dude
With all three credit bureaus there are classic scores, mortgage scores, credit card enhanced scores and auto enhanced scores.
I suggest you read more and snark less.

That's not what was said.
There are bankcard enhanced FICOs. That is what was used. The enhancement is based on credit card experience from reports. There are also auto enhanced scores, based on auto loan/lease experience.

I'm just clearly stating I don't know what this "enhanced FICO score" means. There's nothng snarky about it. I am free to express my opinion that something is ridiculous, either it be a fact or not. Live with that.
