Good point @Anonymous you want any variable that has an affect on credit point movement to be as isolated as possible and not a part of several variables occuring at the same time.
The first of the month is typically when automatic things happen. However I personally would sit on it a week or two. I have a bunch of scores that report in the first week of the month, so I would not want those potentially reflecting in my comparison also.
