Hi.
Received a - previously dormant - SW update on a Chase acct. It shows the updated "pays as agreed" status but doesn't list the previous past due amount which was $552 as was listed on my 4/11 EQ report. I was hoping for a score bump but there was no change. I'm wondering if there was some kind of glitch in reporting.
Acct status changed as a result of Chase's reporting the as current after having received 3 on-time payments.
My last -previously dormant- SW update on 2 other accts listed the past due amount and "pays as agreed" status. I did have a score increase on that one. Those accts were straight pay downs with no re-age activity.
Question to anyone who may know:
Is the past due amount missing on the SW update or is that just the way Chase would report a re-aged acct as current? The Chase acct is a closed acct with a balance and the other 2 accts mentioned are open if that would make a difference.
From the Chase SW update:
Previously reported | Newly reported | |
Balance: | $2,394 | $2,341 |
Past due: | $0 | $0 |
Status: | At least 120 days or more than four payments past due | Pays account as agreed |
Last activity: | 7/1/2010 | 4/1/2011 |
