Credit Karma reports score results based on the VantageScore 3.0 model.
All scores available from MyFICO are based on a Fico scoring model. Each model weighs scoring factors differently so results will differ depending on the model used. There is really no "correct" model. Nonetheless, you may want to keep the following in mind:

2) Most mortgage lenders look at Fico 4 scores from EQ (also called EQ score 5) and TU (also called TU score 4) along with Fico 98 from EX (also called EX score 2) when evaluating credit worthiness.
3) Some lenders may use VantageScore 3.0 for non mortgage loans but the model has yet to gain widespread traction.
