Re: Score Not Increasing Much...

After working on paying down my cards quite a bit, not much happened. I paid a lot of stuff down up until October and my scores still hung around 670. The updated balances had reported late in October and the rest the first week of November.  Then today, I get some updates showing very minor changes of less than $100 on some accounts and my score jumps up more than 30 points. So I am not sure what is going on.

Do you still have the CA reporting?

A CA can slow score rising severely.

I have a few CAs and have seen very slow movememt in my scores.

SO had a couple CAs and experienced the same. Once his last CA came off, his scores have started rising much easier than when the CAs were weighing them down. I am not saying he now has excellent credit, but there is actually improvement being realized! He still has 2 COs coming off soon and thise did not suppress his scores nearly as much as the CAs did.
