Score Question

If mistakes are made by creditors that bring your score down, once they are corrected should your score be adjusted accordingly?

Re: Score Question

Hi Rising, welcome to the forum.

Is the correction reflected on all of your cr's?

In addition, there are so many ongoing variables that effect your scores, both good and bad. Such as: credit limits and balances on each cc and collectively, average age of your cc's, any inquiries, new accounts, closed accounts, late payments, and the aging of them, etc, etc, etc.

One can never be sure until you pull your cr's, IMO.

Re: Score Question

Your score will be re-adjusted. It is impossible to say whether it will be what it was before. Please keep in mind your score is a snapshot at a particular point in time. Things change daily......some accounts age, another account may have reported, etc.

It's possible your "old" score will return - but I wouldn't count on it. If nothing else has changed - your score may be a little higher. If, for no other reason, than to natural aging of accounts.
