Score Watch

How often do most of you receive Score Watch updates?  I haven't had one in a month (Sept 15th was the last one).  It seems like compared to when I had it a few years ago I am not getting even half as many alerts.  I have the settings set pretty low, but that hasn't seemed to make any difference.

Re: Score Watch

Put your score setting to your current EQ score. I get them all the time.

Re: Score Watch

I had it set that way and was not getting them.  Now I have it set 1 point above.

EDIT:  I just used a Score Power report and my score went to 786.  No activity other than lower balances.  I must just not have enough going on to generate any alerts...

Re: Score Watch

That would be my guess. When I wasn't having a lot of fluxuation in my reports, I was hardly getting any alerts. I thought that SW was broken for me. Now that there is a lot of fluxation, I get a lot of alerts. I hold my breath every time I get one now. Up 17, down 13. Aye-aye-aye.

Re: Score Watch

My score has been at 698 since Jan.  Nothing moves it.  I have it set at 700 which is only 2 pts.  Should I set it at 698?

Thanks.

Re: Score Watch

Set it at 698 if you know for sure that it is your current score. If your score has wandered away from that, it might not bre triggered.

For other readers, the way that the target score works is that if your score moves either up or down, and it crosses or leaves the target score, an alert will be triggered. So if your target is set wrong, and your score either moves away from it, or it moves toward it but doesn't reach it, you'll never get an alert.

I reset my target the moment I get a new EQ score, and it works pretty well. It's technically possible that the score had changed again between the real change and my alert, but this seems to catch at least 90% of the changes. HTH

Re: Score Watch

I never get a score change.  I am so frustrated.  I have posted before---- EQ just hates my almost 9 year old BK.

They have me at good, very good,  very good and great, I've had 3 clis, 2 inquiries drop off and my newest account just turned 11 months old.  My util runs between 2 and 5%. Ther seems to be nothing I can do.

EQUIFAX.....698!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Since Jan.Smiley Mad

Re: Score Watch

I've read your other posts, and I'm sorry, I've forgotten, when was the last time that you pulled EQ?

Re: Score Watch

i have their score watch and look at it frequently.  I called to cancel it and they gave me a month free.

Maybe I'm not supposed to use my credit cards.  I used them alot this month.  Maybe score will go down.  (OH NO)
