Score Watch

How long does it take to get a SW alert? I had a negative drop but no SW update and score still shows old date.

Score 616 as of 4/30 neg deleted 5/2.

Re: Score Watch

Generally I see an alert within 1 to 3 days of it hitting my CR.  Also, if you set your "target" score as 1 point above current, then any positive score change will alert you even if the event alert does not.

Re: Score Watch

SW mentions 7-10 days, but has usually been 2-3 days for myself. However, there are several events that SW won't catch and a removal of a baddie isn't one:

If your target score was set to your current score before the baddie fell, then you should get an alert.

Re: Score Watch

Havent had any response to my own post, so thought I'd get in on this one!

Credit Secure report I pulled today reflects deletion of a baddie, but I havent received a SW alert yet (I have this thru MyFico).

I do have my target score set so any increase should trigger an alert as I'd been hoping for one as 3-4 accounts hit their 1 year anniversaries.

FAKOs on CS went up 25-30 points so I'm hoping for increases of my FICOs too.

I usually rely on the SW alerts to decide when/if to run new reports.  I try to determine from what the alert advises and the EQ score if it's worthwhile to run a TU also, etc. I have on occasion, though, run a report and found changes,  only to have the alert be received afterwards!

I'm anxious to see what's happened to both TU and EQ scores, but dont want to waste money on running reports tht might not yet be updated.

Not sure if since I dont have alert this means CRAs havent notified FICO?? How long should I wait to run reports?
