Score dropped nearly 50 points with no recent changes

I can't figure out for the life of me why my credit score dropped so significantly. It's been going up and up for the last 2 years as I've paid down all my credit cards and they are now only at 10 - 20 percent of available credit. All negatives have fallen off with the exception of 2 with the same company (collections for a small amount) due to fall up in October 2015. On Saturday, received a notifcation of those accounts as if it were new from the monitoring agency I use - along with the score drop. I called one of the credit bureaus thinking that company had moved the date up or something, but it's still the same, October 2015 and there were no changes whatsoever. I can't figure out how this could happen and the credit reporting agency was no help. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Is it a fake score?

If so it means nothing.

Focus on clean reports and low util. The rest will fall into place.

It was. Thank you! That's what I thought was probably the case but wasn't completely sure. Smiley Happy
