Score dropped when...

capital one raised my credit limit to 750 on 2 cards from 500? Sheesh...thought it would give me a boost. There was no hard inquiry at all....and i reported with a 0 balance on both....the only difference between last months report and this one is this credit limit raise and the fact I left 10 bucks on one of them...ugh!

Re: Score dropped when...

Congrats on the CLI

Credit limits have no bearing on Fico scoring so I'm not sure what caused the drop but it wasn't the CLI's

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

If your util was lowered you might have missed your sweet spot.  The suggestion is to have a 1-9% for max FICO scoring.  Only, you'll have to figure out if your max is at 9% or 2%.
