Score guesses just for fun

As of this morning 1/27, I'm at 732.Yesterday was at 720 with a 10% UTIL.

Last night a $1962 payment was processed with that account reporting no balance remaining.Tonight or tomorrow night (if Lowe's can get around to it), Lowes will report zero balance after a $1781 payment, which will leave me with an overall 3% UTIL and a perfect AZE2 (1 chg + 1 AU). Nothing else should be changing at month's end, other than the normal aging.

I hope I'll get at least another say 8 points because of the Lowe's payment and resultant balance drop to 3%, but I'm also curious whether it will be more because I'm also dropping from 10% past the "magic" 8.9%.

What say you guys? This time tomorrow or Friday, what will my score be? Thank you.

Clarification question:

You are going from 1 AU, 1 charge card and 1 credit card reporting a balance to 1 AU and 1 charge card?

If so, I expect your FICO 8 score to decrease.

I don't understand your logic, unless AZEO must include a revolver, not a charge?

Yes. Charge cards don't count utilization, therefore they can't be used for AZEO. So, in this case, it's the equivalent of having all (revolving) cards showing a zero balance, thus incurring the "all-zero penalty."

Well, that's anticlimactic.

Re: Score guesses just for fun

So it's Saturday, and Lowe's, which turned over on the 20th, has still not reported, or at least Experian hasn't shown it. They are the only account of mine that takes this long. If they don't get it in by the 1st I'm notta gonna be happy. I think in self-defense I'll move the closing date earlier in the month so Synch can take more than their customary 8 days and I won't be troubled by it.

Isn't it fun to b*tch about them?

I don't think you can move the closing date, only your due date. At least that's what most lenders do when they allow you to choose it.

Re: Score guesses just for fun

I meant move the due date.

Last night I called Synch CS and got a nice young lady prob in the Philippines. I explained that I wished to move my present due date (20th) to earlier in the month. She proceeded to (a) move it to the.... 20th! and (b) inform me that company policy is only 1 due date move in a 12 mo period. When I asked for a next level person, she asked "why?" Jeez. I did get it straightened out.

Re: Score guesses just for fun

And the envelope please -

This morning my FICO  was up 5  points to 737. Credit usage 0% (down from 10% yesterday), total debt about 2k (Amex charge card). I think I caught AZE2 as AU Bloomies showed $5, and the Delta Reserve Amex showed 20-ish (interest).  No other balances.  Out of semi-boredom I apped and took down the Navy More Rewards Amex to go with the Navy Visa sig so I think that'll be a HP. Will that show up right away? I only get monthly updates on TU and EQ, although I guess I can check TU on one of the free services.

So, I think I've peaked on my FICO score.  I only paid off a Cap1 CO last Feb, and a disheartening graph I looked at recently, showing the beneficial effects of time on 30 and 60 day lates, was not so encouraging on 120+'s+, showing no help from 12-24 months, and only a little after that. A scarlet letter indeed.  I don't have an installment loan, save a SSL at Navy.  I haven't missed a monthly card payment (except for the CO) for over 3 years.  So I don't see much I can do to help matters.  If Navy did a HP, that'll knock me down a bit, but I only have 2 that still are within 12 mos, and they'll both be gone by May 1.

I guess I'm in the garden.  I never liked it there.  Too many bugs, too quiet, and the sun beats down.
