I have no credit inquiries on my report. I am considering applying for a couple cards that I like the benefits on. I won't apply for anything that has a pre-qual form that doesn't come back with any offers. But not all cards have pre-qual forms. I'm curious, if I got denied on 2 applications, how much more of a credit hit would applying for 1 or 2 more cards be? I'm 99% sure I won'd need any more hard pulls for any lending products for another 2 years. My guess would be the 3rd or 4th pulls have minimal score impact and better to get them over with so they all roll off sooner than later when I may need to apply for a loan or something farther down the road?

It's impossible to say because they often get binned. So you might have 2 inquiries that get scored as one, or even none. My testing for my profile has shown each scorable inquiry up to 4 inquiries as costing 7 points in EX FICO 8. Bottom line, if you apply for 2 cards, and your profile works like mine, you could lose 7 points, or 14 points, or no points, from the inquiries.
