I'm trying to understand why my Fico 8 scores from myFico and Fico 8s from Experian (membership for all 3) are way different? I know why the credit karma fako scores are different but this seems very odd? Fico 8 is fico 8 right? should be the same everywhere no?
anyway I'm post chapter 7, trying to rebuild, and I guess my really question would be where should I focus on to track my scores? as I probably should stop driving myself crazy looking at 8 different sites
for reference... all reports/ scores were updated today 12/1
myFico
Experian - 618
TU - 556
Equifax - 645
Experian
Experian - 629
TU - 610
Equifax - 669
thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions

I would compare the reports between the two and see what differences there are and see which report is the actual, current report reflecting the current, actual score.
Thanks, both companies have info the same... is this strange? I know the scores can vary but fico 8 TU score should just be one score no matter where its from right?
I guess ill stick with myFico and not bother looking at or paying for experian's 3 companys monthly reports anymore

I'm not familiar with Experian's 3 bureau services, I subscribe to one of their Experian-only services, which updates the EX report and 7 or 8 EX FICO scores every day. I find that very valuable.
The other thing I use is MyFICO, which is of course super-comprehensive, but is expensive, and costs a fortune to update, other than once a month or once a quarter, depending on which service you have.
I'd bet that one has updated more recently than the other. I notice sometimes the FICO 8 from Experian and my Experian FICO 8 from myFICO are not the same, then a few days later they are the same.

ahhh good to know, they both had said as of the same date, ill give it a few, the few points is strange but the TU score being 60points different is odd, anyway thanks!
Well they are even more different today, crazy to me that FICO 8 isnt the same number everywhere... is the best practice to only look monthly or something? at this rate checking daily im going to make my self crazy.

MyFICO updated 12/02 above. ^^^^ Look at when the other scores updated. Lagging behind.
they had all said updated 12/2 - today the myFICO experian updated to match the experian fico. TU and equifax are still slightly different but I guess im just being nutty checking daily.
probably dont need to pay for 2 memberships, is myFICO the best membership/place to have to track?
