I am beyond frustrated tonight and neeed to go to bed becuase I am so confused by this scoring garbage!!
How is it that my EQ on MyFico today is 682 (and yes this is today's date on their update)
And PenFed has me at 681 on EQ.
Yet, Capital One just said it is 636??????? How and WHY???
I am just ready to give up!!!
This game is such an unfair practice to consumers. Up one day down the next...and then the inconsistency....It makes not sense that EQ just suddenly dropped and no, no alerts on any of the monitoring sites about EQ.
I think this is one reason I walked away from credit years ago and just started paying cash only and not worrying about all this! It's a mess to deal with!!
I'm looking to pop over 700 and they have me lower than I have seen in months. Uggh!
Cap 1's Credit Tracker I believe is still an educational score (unless that changed recently).
I.e. not used by lenders, and therefore worth less than spit. All three of those actually are different scores, and in my estimation:
myFICO > Penfed >>>>>> Cap 1 in terms of value. Penfed uses a score from 2002 roughly and is the only known lender to still use it.
