No idea when that reason showed up.
As mentioned, there is about to be a stack of new accounts reporting...
@tcbofade how many new accounts do you have in the last 17 months? And how many new revolvers?
Maybe @Thomas_Thumb would be kind enough to enlighten us more on buffers?
5/17
All five revolvers.
@Curious_George2 You are almost correct. One mortgage refi, one personal loan, four credit cards, one denial, and two I'm still waiting on the answer... ![]()
NFCU didn't offer balance transfers this year. (to me!) So, I'm doing the new account BT shuffle again... ![]()

@tcbofade thank you, could you please keep an eye on your negative Reason Codes and see if they change as they cross the 17 month line and that number goes down? As I said I have a data point that that might be the threshold.
I'll be happy to watch, but as mentioned, I now have another stack of new accounts, and I believe that number will be going UP before it goes down... I don't KNOW that tho.
I'll keep an eye on it! ![]()
I have 5 revolvers and one loan under 17 months, that negative reason code isn't present anywhere.
Last time I saw it was in October 2020, when I had 4 revolvers and one loan under a year. In November, 3 revolvers reached a year, code disappeared.
Nothing reached 17 months.
Right now, the only account I have that's under a year (till March) is a loan

Weird, it kicked out one image, duplicated another one. I ain't editing on mobile so here is October when the negative reason code shows

@Remedios thank you very much for the data points. This is insane. I don't know how to reconcile this. I am at 15 months AoYRA and I have the code. One individual had it disappear at 17 months.
Wow, I've got to think about this. I don't even have a hypothesis at this point. What could possibly be different about your profile that would cause that reason code not to appear? And this isn't something that just happened this month like all those other possible glitches, this is something you've been monitoring and it's been missing since November.
Anybody got any ideas? This is crazy. You passed two years oldest account, so you're in a mature card on that version, and I'm sure you have enough accounts to be thick, so what could be the distinguishing factor? 🤔
@Anonymous Yes, quite thick.
I told you I have the weirdest profile in this neighborhood lol.
The only time my profile mirrored "the expectations" were couple of utilization tresholds for loans.
Whenever DPS are shared, I feel like a total contrarian "Well, that didn't happen to me!!!", but it's true.
I truly don't understand which aspect sets it aside from whatever "the norm" might be.
Your theory might be valid, but not applicable to me.
I've had that negative reason code since at least March 2018 up until November 2020 when it disappeared. In November, I still had one revolver under a year and a loan under a year.
Longest stretch without new account was 8 months, and that was from March 2018 to November 2018.
It's not result of EX glitch since MyFico monitoring provided exact same reason codes.

Were you and Remedios on different scorecards when the respective sprees happened?
If so, might that difference be captured in the scoring software, such that EX2 forgives them at different ages, even if you are later on the same scorecard?
