Re: Success!!! Quickly - Im shocked!!!

Wow, small world huh? I went through it once before with my first marriage and my son was the result of it. Its a rough and emotional (get ready for lots of emotions) road, but well worth it!

Yes, its a wee bit costly, I am thankful my company insurance covers it all. Good Luck with the process - Keep me posted on how its going.

Re: Success!!! Quickly - Im shocked!!!

I've heard the "microfiche" logic used with other scenarios, such as disputing a chapter 7. I don't buy it. I have worked in info tech for several large national corporations and in my experience most corps have made the move to electronic recordkeeping over the last several years for many reasons, including banks, credit unions, health care, insurance and public agencies. I guess it's possible some are still using antiquated recordkeeping. If you're disputing one that does, you've lucked out.

Re: Success!!! Quickly - Im shocked!!!

I know for a fact that this small credit union, which is not a large corporation, uses microfiche up to two years ago, and even the information that is not stored on microfiche is stored on disk and packed away in the same warehouse after 6 months. They have not yet proved that I was ever late on the car payment. I am disputing it as never been late and paid off early instead of repo'd. And that dispute was sent off 4/21, so they dont have much longer to prove the valitity of the repo. I do have a question though, once it is deleted/corrected, what if the creditor "proves" the debt is legit AFTER the 30 day period? Does it reappear on the CBR?

Good luck on the fertility guys. I had the opposite problem. I could look at my wife cross-eyed and she'd get pregnant. I have 4 critters and since I'm not starting a hockey team I took preventive measures about 18 months ago. Very....uncomfortable....measures.
