I just got my approval letter from US Bank for my Cash+. Funny that I got the letter about 4 days after getting the card itself. But that's neither here nor there.
Anyway, I pulled my scores from this site on 7/5/12 to check my scores/reports before apping for the Cash+ later that day. My TU was supposedly 749 on that day according to myfico. But the letter I got says my TU score was 758 on the same day. What's going here? What version did US Bank and what version is sold here? Are all TU's pulled by creditors the same version as the one pulled by US Bank?
And for anyone who knows exactly what TU scoring version US Bank pulled, what is the difference between that one and the one sold here at myfico?
Silly me. I should have read the letter a little more:
The letter states:
"The version used was Trans Union FICO Risk Classic 04....scores range from a low of 309 to a high of 839"
Anyone know any specifics about this score?
It is the version after the the one sold here. The one sold here is TU 98.
What is weighted differently in the TU-04 version versus the one sold here?
There are several good threads that discuss this, here's one: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Understanding-FICO-Scoring/TU98-vs-TU04-and-FICO-FAKO/m-p/984764#M56...
