I was in the gaarden for 26 months
No HPs. No new accounts. All files had no inquiries
1st scoring issue - FICO 8 - TU
8/4/20 Score was 848 when alert hit for new inquiry ( bringing TU total inquiries to 1 ) Approved for CFU but the new account hasnt posted to reports yet. No score movement
9/4/20 Exactly one month later, TU score drops 3 points FNAR. No changes to TU report. Strange that is this dip was due to going from 0 to 1 inquiry, that it didnt happen a month ago
2nd scoring issue
Again on 8/4/20 an inquiry hit my EX file bringing my inquiry total form 0 to 1. A 3 point FICO8 drop. Not to be outdone, for the inquiry, FICO9 dropped 17 points.
Im glad Im not stressing about hitting 850 anymore
I wonder why the delay?
Are you expecting a pretty standard 15-20 point drop on your Fico 8 scores due to the AoYA reset to 0 months?
Congrats on not caring about the trivial score drop (from a lending perspective) from adding the new card that you obviously wanted.
Im bracing for 20+ points dropping like last time in FICO8s
Whats going to be interesting is to see FICO9s movement
When my AoYA hit 1 year, my FICO8s were all + 15 - 22 across the board
The same day, FICO9s dropped 12 - 14 points across the board
Im still trying to figure out the logic on that one
Maybe Ill have reverse outcomes and my FICO9 will go up
I had similar strange reporting, although contradicting:
dropped -15 on EX9 (no revolving balances) and
dropped -12 on EQ9 (too many balances reporting =2)
Also find it odd my sync vantage score has not updated since July.
Fico 8 scores remained consistent, up or down a 1-2 pts, no big changes w/in the same timeframe.

I share in you humor... I just wished to share, please stick to the last line in the OP of this thread, I do not wish for you to pull your hair out only for such an achievement of an 850 score (I am sure you can think of other reasons why you should do that). I do hope you reach 850, at some point... good luck!
