Great stuff!! I will be paying off another card, which posts March 3rd. With everything else the same, my aggregate UT will be at 3.05%, so hopefully that will show at 3% threshold. Let's see what happens then.

It will. At least with myFICO, Experian, and Credit Karma front-ends.

After going below 5% to 4%, I never saw any further point changes. Meaning, 1,2 and 3%. And no further changes above 5% at 6,7,8, or 9%. Except for that new TU4 -4 drop at 6% that I described earlier in this thread. (Due to amount owed, not percentage.)

Re: Testing Credit Card Utilization Thresholds

Today, a card I paid off posted and my aggregate UT went down to 3.01% from 4.56%. My EX 8 FICO score went up 7 points, from 821 to 828.

Starting Score: 589/599/598 5/8/14
FICO® Score 8: EX 788 TU 791 EQ 785 05/09/23
Goal: Was 740 across all bureaus. DONE!

Could’ve been a balance threshold.
