Then you could experiment later on and find out whether the thick/thin threshold is at 5 or 6 when you do your loan. Because we know you’re going to the garden so you might as well grab that fourth one now. 😉

Do you think the recent inquiry will lower my initial Discover IT CL, or spook them in any way?

Re: Testing greater than 8.99% but less than 9.00%

@AnonymousNot at all, because your file is so thin and so clean and that’s the only inquiry you have and if they pull the SP anywhere else they are going to see how clean it is as well.

They wanna lock you in as their lifetime member; they want to be you’re number 1 and they have a much better chance from their perspective when they’re one of your only as opposed to one of us with 20 cards.

Plus, they prefer young profiles because they want to be you’re number 1. Get it now before your scorecard reassignment penalty and AAOA penalty.

My advice is to get it now and if there’s another one you want to get it now as well.

@AnonymousI’ll tell you another thing, Discover CLIs are SP. Well they may not be predictable, but they do come. And you have plenty of patience, so it shouldn’t be a concern. I think they’ll give you a nice SL probably better than they did me.

I got the 'We're reviewing your application and will notify you within 5-7 days" response. Smiley Sad

I have a bad feeling about this.

Re: Testing greater than 8.99% but less than 9.00%

@Anonymous I bet you get it. Don’t be discouraged. They could want ID verification.

And if it is the worst, it’s not the end of the world. How many points did you say you got dinged for inquiry now 3?

Hope for the best; plan for the worst. Do they do recon? That’s what we need to look up real quick. Just in case be prepared for recon.

But with your file being young and thin and spotless, I think you’re going to get it and even if it’s not a big SL, it’s gonna grow.

I’m rooting for you, I sure hope you get it. If you don’t, that cash+ from US Bank is nice and they pull TU.

It may have been referred for review and on manual review you’re gonna look great. And they will probably SP EQ, finding it sparkling as well.

Yeah, it's only 3 points now, and that's certainly refreshing to see.

I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I would have thought I'd see an EX inq alert by now, since the AMEX pull triggered it very quickly.

Computer down for maintenance!! what happens if you get a email in an hour saying you’re approved. Now I’m trying to remember if mine was instant or how I found out. Is there a number you can call like some of the other lenders?
