Today I spent most of an hour on the phone with Experian. There was an old account from my Chapter 13 still showing. In their written report to me it showed that the account would fall off in February of 2016, but it is already more than seven years old. I spoke to two people and the second person agreed with me that that single account should have fallen off with all the others in May. Also, there was a note about a derogatory account. Evidently this was the one, so she agreed to remove that note as well!
She is sending me an email about our conversation so I am anxious to get it to believe this is real. This score has been a hundred points below my other scores. I hope to see a change there, too.
I'll keep you posted. Best of luck to all of you who have similiar problems!

Congratulations! That will indeed be a nice boost, hopefully sooner than Feb 2016 when it would arrive anyway.
Good luck!

Thank you! There was a derogatory note on my file, too, connected to this. I was more interested in this falling off as it is keeping my score lower. Nothing has happened yet. I'll wait a few days then call again.
I was able to dispute online the two old AmEx accounts showing on my Equifax account that should have dropped off. It is currently under investigation. We'll see. These are the last remaining negatives showing that I can do something about. I don't mind the extra effort of calling if it cleans my reports sooner.
