Hey everyone..I am new to posting, but have been reading the forum for the last couple of weeks. Based upon the tips I have read, I sent off letters to each of the cra's on Monday of last week to dispute one of two items on my record. I checked today, and amazingly, that baddie is gone!!! Thanks so much. I have one more to go, and have prepared my dispute to be mailed tomorrow morning to two of the agencies. I have filed an online dispute with Transunion. If that is removed, as I am praying it will be, I have only to reduce my utilization which I am working on. Those cell phone and telephone companies are really something else.  Thanks again everyone...

So...I know nothing is set in stone..but if I can get this last sprintpcs baddie off my record...how many points can I expect to gain? There was a little red flag on my equifax report saying this one baddie was affecting my scores greatly.

Congrats! There is no way to accurately say how any certain change will impact your score.

Tuscani...TheNewworldman...I love your advice...on this sprintpcs situtation...The has been paid but is on my credit report..It indicates $588 owed as of 4-2005...I have located the last bill received from them and it is dated June 16, 2005 and indicates a balance of $388.03 which was in dispute..My letters to the bureau's have already but composed, but I am wondering if I should add this discrepancy since the entry is inaccurate...
