Wow, I called Trans Union to make an adjustment to my current address. The woman on the phone told me that since I had updated my address, I was not eligible for free 30 CMS through Trans Union and blaa, blaaa, blaaaaa. I told her I already receive my true FICO score for Trans Union through myFICO.com. She tripped out yelling about how the scores here are not true models etc etc and that the only place I could receive a real score used by lenders was to get it from their site. LOL I mean, come on, I was highly offended that I would be that stupid. I told her Nope, I already have a CMS and do not need this, goodbye!
Has anyone else experienced them being so aggresive in selling their CMS?
Yep, the CRAs will certainly try to sell you their FAKO scores and CMS, and will tell you that FICO scores are "third party" scores, etc....
lol, yep that's exactly what she said, "third party scores" Guess she just didn't know who she was talking to...I let her have it
I heard the third party usually has the best chips and salsa.
OMG I want some chips and salsa!!!
Can someone send me some??

I wouldn't know. I don't think I ever made it to the third party....
I got that same song & dance when I called Equifax the other day to ask a question about a pending dispute.
As soon as I got the answer I needed, she started in on how myFICO.com wasn't a TRUE Equifax FICO # and that could only be obtained directly from Equifax themselves.
I told her "that's funny. I pulled my myFICO equifax last week an hour before I went to meet with my lender about an auto refinance and when she told me the "true" Equifax FICO score she pulled......the funniest thing happened - IT MATCHED MINE FROM MYFICO.COM!"
She replied "ok, well will there be anything else I can assist you with today?"
Yes, I have had this happen a lot. Every company I have ever used when canceling tries to get me to stay or buy more stuff.
