TransUnion FICO

Hi All,

I purchased my TransUnion FICO score from myFICO.  I have two questions:

1.  Is this a true, accurate score?

2.  According to myFICO my TU score is 560.  My Equifax FICO is 681. I bought this score directly from the EX website. Is it possible to have such a wide gap between the two scores?

Thanks!

Re: TransUnion FICO

If you bought your scores from any other Web site  they are not FICO scores and connot be compared.  The one exception to this is Pen Fed CU for Experian.

Two thigs.  first if the score is an Equifax FICO I think you bought it from Equifax (EQ) not Experian (EX).   But the real point is that yes scores can vary widely.  The two reporting agencies may have different dat and even if they have idential dat  they weight things differently.  A 120 point gap would be unusual but you just can't use one score to predict another.
