I applied to more than 5 cards in the past 24m but don't see all of them as hard inquiries.

This appears on TU and EQ but for some reason doesn't appear on the EX report, hence the discrepancy. Not much I can do about that besides wait until they come off the report (late payments were 2015, so it's there until 2022 I'm afraid).
Not necessarily. You could attempt to obtain a GW adjustment. Your chances of success depend on the lender, how many late payments you have and/or their severity (how late) along with how favorable your payment history with them is otherwise.
