Recently I settled a charged off Chase account. It was reported a few days ago and my Equifax score went up by 73 points, then I got alerts that it was updated with TU as well and my score went from 584 to 627.
I went to look on the main screen and it showed -43 points on TU as if the change was totally reversed. There have been no new inquiries, late payments or closed credit lines lately. I have no idea what's causing this- could it be a glitch on the website maybe?
It just doesn't make any sense when that's the only change to my credit report for the score to rise from it then immediately fall for no reason. Oh, I never got any alerts for the score dropping either or report changes supporting the drop.

It would be helpful if you were to be more specific as to your sources of information, and what screens you are observing.

Oh, I was on the myFICO app. The screen that just shows all 3 scores shows a -43 on the TU score bringing it back to 584. But on the alert screen and the score graph, it says my score went up to 627. These are dated both on January 10th
Perhaps in a few days they will settle out.

It's fixed now...after buying a new TU report. Well, at least all my scores are accurate now. Yay!
