Have been taking the steps to lower my cc utilization from 20% down to 1% and today noticed a scoring irregularity in my Transunion update. No new inquiries or accounts, or changes to credit report other than lowered utilization just to paint the picture. My fico 8 score dropped by 8 points, while my fico 9 increased by 11 points. Again no changes in my 3B reports other than lowered utilization and month increase in average age. Scores are in the 750 range across all 3 bureaus, just not the result I'd expect and my cards reporting are major revolvers and I'm not yet at AZEO. Any thoughts?
Edited to add Equifax and Experian Fico 8s are up 11 and 22 points respectively.

Welcome to the forum.
In what you have described there is no reason for TU FICO 8 to have decreased. So you would need to scour your before and after TU reports to see what caused it.
Most recent account is now 3 months old on all 3 bureaus.
Looked at every account and inquiry to look for any discrepancies. No changes in the two reports besides the lowered utilization. No payment changes or accounts falling off or being added. I was just as perplexed when seeing how in the same bureau scores which operate by very similar guidelines would operate completely different, not to mention different two the other Fico 8s from equifax and experian.

It's totally normal for different scoring models to behave differently.
What's not normal is for any FICO 8 score to decrease when the only changes are reduced utilization and an added month of aging.
The only way that would be even possible is for a scorecard promotion to have caused a temporary decline. E.g., let's say the added month of aging moved you up to a 1-year AoYA scorecard (which is what @GZG is trying to get at ).
But I think it is pretty rare for a scorecard promotion to lead to a score demotion; it's never happened to me. I know it happens, but for me every scorecard promotion has resulted in a score increase, not a decrease. A promotion to a 1-year AoYA scorecard for me adds ~26 points to my FICO 8's.
I'm betting there's some change you haven't noticed.
Would love for it to be as simple as a missed item but unfortunately it seems to not be the case in this instance. Overall not a huge deal in terms of score fluctuations as it normally all works itself out in the end. Just the first such irregularity I've noticed.

agree with above
myFico score simulator really, really wants me to get to 1-year AoYA
Update:
Score alert from myfico reversed the negative 8 points and then showed a gain of 6 points, so maybe a temporary glitch in the matrix. After looking back this was the second time such a thing has happened. About a year ago myfico's update on equifax did a negative and then a couple days later an update with the exact amount of lost points added. Both times the alerts weren't accompanied by any changes. Thanks for the advice and help anyways.
my scores dropped 26 pts just cus I had a $70 balance. so sorry for not paying that off before even the statement date.
with credit cards nowadays, you literally have to make full payments every few days. due dates dont even matter anymore.
