TrueCredit numbers

I have managed to pull my credit scores up from around 590 to 693 over the past few months.

With all of the various credit products I understand very well that numbers will be different from place to place.

TrueCredit though takes the cake on their own site and I can't get anything but insults from them when I have tried to ask them to look into it.

On Truecredit my EQ score is 693, my Transunion score is 683 and my Experian score is 527 ??

While the three reports do have minor discrepancies, nothing big is different to account for these numbers. Through other on-line sites my Experian is around 690.

Truecredit tells my I obviously don't understand how credit reports and credit itself works - going so far as telling me that if I know so much then I would not have a 527 score. I, needless to say am not happy with their explanation. My ignorance would still not account for a 160 point difference.

I cannot find anywhere the corporate owners phone and / or address. I really don't care to talk to their "customer service" people again.

I either want an explanation or my money back - that too much to ask? Has anyone else had this same type of issue with Truecredit?

Re: TrueCredit numbers

Well, I understand your frustration, as my TC scores are EQ 721 - TU 660 - EX 645, not as crazy as yours, but still a bit nuts, as my reports are essentially identical. But actually, the purpose for using TC is for the daily report pulls. Why they bother to create their FAKO scores, no one knows, since no one uses them anyway.

Are your FICO's reasonably understandable, or consistent? My FICO EQ is a good bit lower than the other two, but I believe that EQ scores (at least, the real EQ scores) are tougher on lates than the other two. Also, I've recently changed score buckets, oh boy, so everything dropped.

edit: great work on the scores, by the way!

Re: TrueCredit numbers

Yeah I don't rely on them at all, but since I pay for it, it should be at least reasonable.

Most of my credit issues were from neglect. I just refinanced the house, and before I got ready to do that, I pulled my files. Little did I know what neglect could turn into. Small things that either were reported wrong or twice or old or what ever..I'm sure many of us have been there.

Got very favorable terms on my loan and I am happy with that, but I must confess I really want 715+ on all 3 and won't stop until I get them Smiley Happy

I retired on disability about two years ago, so my credit reports are even more important to me. I'm only 48 and it's hard enough to explain the no job thing much less battle old or inaccurate data and still get good loan terms.
