Trying To Predict An EXP Score Jump W/out Simulator

Since my TU is identical to my EXP report, and it shows a 30+ point for the upcoming utility lowering (90+% to 10%), I wonder if EXP is known to be somewhat similar to TU from your experience all things equal.

Since we don't have as simulator we never know for sure but, if you have experienced idtentical changes on both TU and EXP, what have you noticed? I'm bored and just curious Smiley Wink

Thanks.

PS. I assume there will never be plans for EXP to release a simulator?

As you know all three formulas are slightly different - weighing things differently at each of the 3 bureaus, yet designed to have the same score distribution and predictive ability.

As such, while TU may have given you 30 points, EX may come in somewhere between 20-40.

I figure. I was just wondering if sometimes they were so different where one can even expect them to be far from each other. Either way, it should be interesting to see over time since they share accounts, utility, accounts and identical baddies.

They were 16 points apart but only TU had a mistaken 30 day late from 7 years ago that was since taken off I think.

As best as I can tell, the deal with EX is that they're still trying to flog marketing their PLUS score, and they just aren't willing to jump all the way into the pool. You'll notice that they also don't give positives on the second screen.

(This is my best guess, not some sort of insider info, lol. Just my native cynicism.)

Actually, that makes a lot of sense. I hope I never really have to deal with them when my dispute is 'resolved' as of 9/16 with them. I hear one horror story after another.

9% is better. I also agree with the 20-40 range.  EX is more interested in total util them # accounts reporting a balance.

Re: Trying To Predict An EXP Score Jump W/out Simulator

Good to know that, thank you. I only have 2 cards now (will have CJ as #3 before I apply later for 'prime cards' when I qualify) and I wasn't sure what # should have $0 and what should have 1% or so.

TY, guys, as usual.
