Two Different Experian Scores

I used to belong to Credit Manager by Experian, which always showed my scores in the 700's yet a credit report would show a different score, usually 35-50 points less. I to this day beleive that the Manager score is Inflated, why I do not know. I want an honest score that Creditors see, is that too much to ask. Thanks to my fico, I beleive I've found it..

Re: Two Different Experian Scores

NM - Any score that does not explicitly say "FICO" is NOT one that lenders use and you should ignore it.   There are only a few ways to obtain the real FICO scores, and via Experian is not one of them.

Re: Two Different Experian Scores

This is my first post and i'd like to say "Greetings" to all...

On 8/7/08 i pulled my free Expedian CR from ACR and paid the $5.00 to get my CS, it was 674.          I've been browsing myFICO.com forums for sometime now and today 8/27/08 i decided to check my CR from myFICO.com and bought my CR from Experian here, it now came back as 664...  Why is that? Any ideas?

What is the range of FICO scores?

FICO (aka Classic or BEACON) scores can range from 300 to 850, but the majority of scores usually fall within the 600s and 700s.

FICO, FAKO, HUH?

FICO, FAKO, Credit Score, PlusScore, ScoreX, Vantage are all the same right? WRONG!

FICO = The score lenders use and the only score you care about.

FAKO = Any score that isn't a FICO. Most people like to buy the ScoreWatch product because you can quite often get updates as to your current EQ FICO score. myFICO Identity Theft Security Deluxe is similar to Score Watch except that is monitors TU. There is no FICO monitoring service for all three credit reporting agencies.
