Two Inquiries Fall Off CR...Score Drops 16 Points

I pulled from TC today and was delighted to see two inquiries I disputed removed from EQ.  No other changes on EQ or the other two cr's.  So I then pulled my FICO EQ and bang my score dropped from 772 to 756.  I did a side by side review with both EQ reports and the only chage is the two inquiries removed.  I know some people are going to say big deal, I have good scores.  But I am concerned I was in the high 780's less than 6 weeks ago.  At this rate I fear I will fall below 720 and not get the mortgage I feel I deserve and worked hard for.  How can scores go down this fast without anything negative reporting, util at about 3.5% and 0 derogs.  Is this a "scorecard, bucket" thing?  How can I stop the bleeding?  Am I being punished by some supreme being at FICO for scolding my two year old daughter?  HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I disputed them as not mine, EQ's online dispute center did not give the option to dispute as inaccurate.  Why did my score drop so much?  This is driving me nuts!

Re: Two Inquiries Fall Off CR...Score Drops 16 Points

This has happened to me before.  I dispute something and they take revenge by lowering my score.  Make sure you review every single detail of each and every account.  Last time I disputed something with EX they lowered my score by 12 points.  I reviewed the report and noticed that some jerk over there closed changed the status on two of my accounts.  They changed one to an authorized user and changed another account to closed status.  They also changed my employer name slightly which updated my employment date.  I disputed these changes, they changed it back and my score recovered 10 points.  There you have it.  It's common knowledge on other boards that the CRA's sometime take revenge.
